Anxiety is defined as a general feeling of dread, fear, and uneasiness. However, it can easily become dangerous and can quickly result in excessive sweating, restlessness, and a rapid heartbeat. A person usually suffers from anxiety when they experience difficult or traumatic incidents during their childhood which can be triggered during their adulthood or they are going through high-stress times. Treatment for anxiety includes medication, therapy, and sometimes even dietary changes.

There are certain foods that can help in lowering anxiety levels, so if you want to know more then keep on reading!

1. Blueberries

Mental health is just as important as physical health, which means that it requires diet changes for improvement. One of the first recommendations for better mental health is to have blueberries. They come loaded with antioxidants and vitamin C. This vitamin boosts the immune system, slows down aging and it promotes cell regeneration while the antioxidants keep the body from storing excess toxins.
