“All the deceit, the lying, the murdering of Paloma and Celia took its toll,” he said. That wasn’t just game play. Paloma Faith is a close friend of his. He had to “kill” her in-game, knowing full well it would hurt her trust.

Then came the win. £87,500 wasn’t going into his pocket. It was going straight to Neuroblastoma UK, a charity he supports deeply. When he called someone at the charity to share the news, they cried. That is when it hit him.
